Coming from the Youngstown Ohio area we have our fair share of pizza shops. Slice is the real deal. I have 2 places in my travels that are the top 2 and Slice is one of them.
Aldo's in Sharon PA is the other.
Great NY style and a great deep dish!
Favorite is the margarita pizza mmmmm!
No cardboard commercial dough here! Perfect dough,excellent fresh ingredients and sauce.

We stop here a couple times every year. They have a nice selection of pizzas to pick from, and when your slice(s) come out of the oven, oh so good! Nice crunchy crust. Highly recommend Slice!

We had a New York style cheese pizza, Philly Cheese Steak Sub and the Chicken Paesano, all were great. Mozzarella sticks were so-so. The carry out was ready fast and the staff was friendly and the place looked clean but small. We will be ordering again!

My three favorite pizza places here are Pizza Stop, Cosmo's and Slice. The first two are in Kitty Hawk and all three serve a wonder NY style pie. All three serve by the slice as well. Slices pie is best when they make you a whole one and I only wish the place was a little bigger as it get crowded often and always in the summer.

If you want real NY pizza on the Outer Banks, there are only 2 choices - Slice in Kill Devil Hills and Cosmo's in Southern Shores. Delicious every time, with lots of options for buying single slices as well as whole pizzas and a few entrees. Smallish interior with a little bar (they do serve alcohol), and an expanded seating area outside. Price is reasonable, and they deliver! But order early because they are very popular and the wait can easily be an hour.
Located next to the Brewing Station, in the Sunsations shopping center off Baum Street, milepost 8.5 or so.
