We drove up from Hatteras Village to eat at Sting Wrays. We love the north end so we made a few other stops as well. Restaurant was busy but everything went smoothly. Same menu, same food although my son thought the pasta he has always loved was too spicy and he loves spicy. He said it was 'gratuitous spice.' The tuna was well prepared, we had two appetizers of a tuna steak seared and with wasabi sauce. Perfectly cooked. All the other entrees were good; we were happy when we left the restaurant and stood in the parking lot watching the sun go down.

The old place used to have Pabst Blue Ribbon only. Since the Sting Wray's people bought and remodeled, this place has really upgraded everything. Their food is consistently good! Good pasta! Great tuna entree with wasabi sauce!! Really great desserts!!! Super service!
We've been there several-maybe 4 times in two years and we'll be driving up from Hatteras to go there at least once this coming summer!! They always make us feel welcome and they have a great ramp for those of us who can not handle the stairs!
